NSW Family Day Care Association was founded in 1976 and was established to support the development of affordable, quality child care within a home environment in NSW. NSW Family Day Care Association operates as a non-profit organisation under the management of an Operational Committee.

We are currently looking for an experienced Manager with a minimum 3 years’ experience in the Family Day Care Sector.

You will be managing the day to day operations of our Professional Services department which provides Professional Development and Support for Family Day Care Services in NSW.

This will be a great opportunity for you to put your expertise of the Family Day Care into practice to make this position a success.

Essential Criteria:

  • Early Childhood Qualifications (minimum Diploma or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years’ Experience and working knowledge of the Family Day Care and the Family Day Care Quality Assurance System.
  • Financial management experience
  • Experience in the coordination and evaluation of Training Programs
  • Advanced report writing skills
  • Highly developed time management skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation and consultation skills within the industry
  • Current TAE 40110 qualification
  • Hold a current driver’s licence and be able to use your own vehicle

Early Childhood Educators

NSW Family Day Care Association was founded in 1976 and was established to support the development of affordable, quality child care within a home environment in NSW. We operate as non-profit organisation under the management of an Operational Committee.

In-Home Care Services is a service sponsored by the NSW Family Day Care Association, the peak body of NSW. Our service offers In-Home Care to  families experiencing a time of vulnerability within the Sydney metropolitan area.

We are currently seeking Educators to work within the family’s own home across Eastern suburbs, Northern suburbs, southern and Inner West suburbs.

If you would like to be your own boss and be part of dynamic organisation then this is the position for you.

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Children’s Services/certificate in disability work/or working towards a related qualification in early childhood
  • Minimum 6 months experience in an Early Childhood setting
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Current 1st Aid / CPR Certificate
  • Child Protection Training
  • Have an ABN or willing to obtain one
  • Current Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check
  • Well developed interpersonal, skills oral and written
  • Understanding of EYLF
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills whilst maintaining confidentiality

Desirable Criteria:

  • Innovative and flexible
  • Hold a current driver’s licence and be able to use your own reliable vehicle
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Work independently
  • High developed communication skills

RTO Student Support Officer

35 hours across 5 days

Located in Summer Hill and across the train station The NSW Family Day Care Association was founded in 1976 and was established to support the development of affordable, quality child care within a home environment in NSW. NSW Family Day Care Association operates as a non-profit organisation under the management of an Operational Committee.

PEAK training is one of our growing business arms and is currently looking for a Student Support Liaison Officer to support our students with the national accredited Early Childhood Qualifications and the Training and Assessment.

This role also supports our Trainers and Assessors delivering the above qualifications.

Essential :

  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment including the TAELLN401A unit
  • Early Childhood Qualification
  • Strong team work skills
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the operations of training organisations
  • Experience in the Coordination and evaluation of Training Programmes
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Publisher and Windows 2007

Desirable :

  • Knowledge of the Family Day Care industry and other childcare services
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with the LMS MOODLE Platform
