As the old proverb says … ‘It takes a village to raise a child’- Anyone who is concerned about the welfare of children can report it but …. do you know what to look for? And, if you can identify a child being at risk; are you confident about what to do next?
For the wider community; the content of this session will provide them some knowledge and understanding of child protection.
For Education and Care services; it’s a great opportunity to create collaborative partnerships with families enrolled in their service.
For everyone; knowledge gained in this session will empower you to:
- Play their part in keeping children safe from harm and,
- Recognise, make a stand against and break the cycle of abuse and domestic violence.
