Our CEO Anita Jovanovski is continuing her advocacy work for the Family Day Care and In Home Care sector in NSW in these challenging times. She is working closely with both State and Australian governments to advocate for the sector.

Application for Supplementary Payment – Relief Package
The application form for Exceptional Circumstances Supplementary Payment is available on the Australian Government DESE website. Scroll down on the DESE webpage to ‘Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package – exceptional circumstances Supplementary Relief Payment’ to find the link to apply.
FDC and IHC services can apply for an Exceptional Circumstance Supplementary Payment where they have 30 per cent or more Full-Time Equivalent current employees who are not eligible for JobKeeper and where the provider or service has not applied for or received another Exceptional Circumstance Supplementary Payment for these employees in lieu of JobKeeper.
Current employees are those employed by the service during the reference period and are still employed by the service from 18 May 2020 onwards. If approved, payments will be backdated to 18 May 2020.
APPLY HERE FOR SUPPLEMENTARY PAYMENT
Is additional support available for IHC?
In recognition of the higher costs associated with the provision of In Home Care, from 18 May 2020 providers will be eligible for an Exceptional Circumstance Supplementary Payment of 20 per cent of the reference fortnight base rate. IHC providers do not need to complete an online application form to receive this Exceptional Circumstances Supplementary Payment, as it will be made automatically.
Enrol for JobKeeper Payments
Eligible organisations and Family Day Care educators can still enrol for JobKeeper payments. JobKeeper payments for services’ staff and educators has finished on 20 July 2020.
