The Learning Frameworks Updated
The new learning frameworks for childcare were created to provide a national approach to early childhood education and care in Australia. They were developed to guide and support educators in providing high-quality learning experiences for children. The frameworks also aim to promote consistency and continuity of learning for children from birth to 12 years of age, including those attending early childhood education and care services and outside school hours care services.
Additionally, the frameworks recognize the importance of a child’s development and aim to support and empower families and communities to contribute to their children’s learning and well-being.
NSW Family Day Care presented two webinars one for Educational Leaders ‘Engaging Educators with the Revised Learning Frameworks: A webinar for FDC Educational Leaders’ and for Educators ‘What every Family Day Care educator needs to know in a nutshell’.
