WHAT IS FAMILY DAY CARE?
As a parent, one of the biggest decisions you’ll have to make in the first few years of your child’s life is what kind of care they will receive when you return to work.
Family Day Care (FDC) should be at the top of your list.
In FDC, children aged between 6 weeks, and 12 years are provided with education and care in a small group setting through individualised programming. Knowledge and skills are developed within the comfort of a nurturing home environment.
An FDC service is a network of trained and registered educators who provide care for other people’s children in their own homes. Educators have been carefully selected, supervised and operate under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and receive regular compliance checks. This is designed to ensure that your child receives the best possible care as well as ensuring quality and continuous improvement of the FDC educators.
Family Day Care has very flexible hours as well as offering access to vacation care, before and after school care, after hours and even overnight care.
Our educator is so professional and loving to the children in her care. My son loves her!!!
