Smart & Skilled Funding
Smart and Skilled is an updated version of the New South Wales Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.
From 1 January 2015, Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with:
- An entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III
- Government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas.
Smart and Skilled funding is available for eligible students in the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121) run by PEAK Training.
Fully funded Certificate III training package
Smart and Skilled Fee-Free Scholarships are available to NSW Social Housing Residents aged between 15-30 years or residents of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who want to study the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121).
