Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

This is the course you need to be able to work with children in those precious years when they are starting to engage with the world around them. It is widely known that this is an exceptional time in a child’s life and the right combination of encouragement and learning-through-play can set them up for a lifetime of confidence and a love of learning.

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113) prepares you for the role of educator in a range of early childhood settings and operates under the national and state legislative guidelines and regulations provided for education and care services.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113) is a nationally recognised qualification from the Community Services Training package for those who wish to commence a career in the early childhood sector. Employment opportunities for those completing the course include: working in a Long Day Care or Family Day Care service, in-home care or as a nanny.

The course is made up of 18 units over a 6-12 month period. Students are working with text books (to be purchased), online resources and on-going student support from qualified trainers and assessors experienced in the field of early childhood. Students are required to complete 120 hours of practical experience in a registered early childhood education and care facility.

PEAK Training offers Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113) online or in classroom in Sydney metro, regional or remote New South Wales, dependent upon the number of enrolled students.
